Scholarship Scheme
Sardardham received financial donation from Dr. Chittaranjan Patel (USA based Gujarati) for offering a scholarship to the bright students who need financial support for higher education. This scholarship is open for students of all castes and communities in Gujarat state. The scholarship started in the year 2024. Details are as below:
- The scholarship is offered to students passing out 12th standard and continuing higher education.
- The scheme is for the students studying Medical, engineering, pharmacy, architect, business administration, etc. The students of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), IIM (Indian Institute of Management) are also covered for the scheme.
- Applications are invited through advertisement in leading Gujarati newspapers.
- The application form will be available through the website of Sardardham – www.sardardham.org for online application. A note containing information on guidelines, rules and criteria will also be uploaded on the website.
- Only the applications received online and within the stipulated timeline will be considered for the scholarship. The applications received through any other channel (post, email, etc.) will not be considered.
- A Committee is formed to review applications received for Dr. Chittaranjanbhai Patel (USA) scholarship. It will review the applications received within the stipulated timeline and prepare a merit list of the eligible students.
- The students who get selected for the scholarship will be informed individually through SMS/WhatsApp.
- The selected students will be asked to contact the administration office of Sardardham, in person, for verification of the documents.
- The committee, post verification of the documents of the students, will finalize the list for disbursement of the scholarship amount to the selected students.
