A medical center was started at Sardardham with financial donation received from Karamshibhai Lakhubhai Dholu (Durgapur, Kutch) to cater to the hostel residents in case of emergency. The objective was to provides primary medical services at an affordable cost to the students of the hostels. Now the service is also extended to the citizens staying nearby Sardardham. It caters to outdoor patients only.

The medical center has full-time doctors. Moreover, there are visiting specialists and super specialists who visit regularly to attend to patients with special needs.

The medical canter is equipped with X-Ray, Sonography and Pathology sections with state-of-the-art equipment. Facility for ECG and 2D ECHO is also available. The patients also get medicines, at subsidized rates, from the medical store.
