Sardardham is an organization of members of Patidar community. A large section of the Patidar community is associated with the agriculture sector and owns land. Problems & disputes related with ownership of land and assets are on the rise. Keeping this in view, at Sardardham, events are organized to provide guidance to the community members on issues related with revenue land and assets.
The problems faced by the farmers include distribution of land among family members (inheritance), registration of various types of documents (Banakhat, Sales Deed, etc.), measurement of land by government agency, availability of space for movement (transport) in adjoining land parcels, legal cases in the court of law due to the disputes, etc. At Sardardham a team of experts (retired government officials) are invited to listen to the problems of the farmers /land owners and guide them for alternative solutions. They are also explained about legal provisions and procedures of the government and court of law.
